I was gifted an oscilloscope that appears to not load anything from flash, or at least that is what I suspect. It's an early model keysight, 4 channel and 100Mhz from memory?
I was diving into the firmware files to figure out how it loads FPGA data and windows xp embed.

What tools did you use to reverse engineer?
Wireshark, curl? Im genuinely curious

Have a look at Onshape, I use it a lot for university, its good for sharing and collaboratio, plus the personal/hobbyist license is free.
It runs in the browser so I use it on my macbook at universit, then continue at home on my linux desktop.
