made a post on tumblr about how a lot of women have been more vocal about "bitch" being a misogynistic slur (of which i do agree) but refusing to remove ableist terminology and phrases from their vocabulary. a terf reblogged it trying to gotcha me. no shock there.

even so it's made clear in the show that even without the covens, many characters would still choose their respective tracks of magic. my point here was that the coven a given character chooses can reflect their actual abilities and skills, while hogwarts houses are just fancy personality boxes
