Hey Tom, just looking at your historical data. What unit is the flow rate in? l/s?, m^3/hr? or something else?

it's a kind of gut feel at the moment. I did flow rates by turning off all rads measured flow individually. see attached. Wonder if I can use these values for a first stab at balancing by running with the slowest rads open, then gradually open the others by to add 2-3 litres/min to the overall flow?

so here's heat meter flow rate and power, plotted on the same graph (with different Y axes for power and flow). Wondering what to make of this!

My heat loss calcs vs calculated radiator outputs at different DeltaT makes for interesting thinking. With my heat meter, I suppose I can turn the boiler on at a specific flow rate and see what power I get dumped into the house...? Thoughts on this?
