Thanks for this additional context. I was wondering (as someone not super plugged into SN measurements), what is the "obsolete version of supernova measurements" that you're referring to? In the paper the data they use is Pantheon+ and DES; I assume you mean some other aspect of their methodology.

What I’ve done is add frequently used symbols as text replacements on Apple products, so I can type “*hbar*” and the computer or phone will suggest ħ. Same for e.g. Cℓ
