Thursday night Basset blogging was appt. reading/viewing.

Sitting out an election is always worse than participating. If you participate, you might lose. If you sit it out, you will lose.

I'm sick of it too. What's the plan? Sit on bluesky and bitch? At least voting for the least worst candidate is a plan. There may be a better plan. Tell me what it is.

Explain how I am wrong. Your list is admirable. I agree with it all. But not voting for the least worst candidate just leads to a worse outcome. It's a zero sum game. Not playing only helps the other side. Push your side to support as much of your list as you can. And then vote for your team.

Or what? You'll vote for the other candidate? The horrible heir to the current administration? Or stay home and not vote? Politics is a zero sum game. Either you vote affirmatively for someone, flawed though they may be, or the other side wins and the outcome is worse.
