So many blue maga insisted I was out of line for screaming exactly this for 18 months while nothing happened, then at multiple intervals after. Apparently this was some kind of 3-D chess and I was the clueless one for not being in on that conspiracy theory.

I always refer to this to show how unnecessarily far right our politics really are. Think of the grey as the forced middle, instead of the actual center btw left and right.

I could only watch 5 minutes of Manchin (the #1 reason IRA and climate action was slashed and delayed so people couldn’t get the benefit of it in time for the 2024 election) and bill insist we must submit to Trump, “fighting” doesn’t “help”, while bill then admits Trump always in war mode.

You might be right, maybe people have Trump fatigue because it didn’t used to be like this. I just went back and checked and here were typical posts in December when I had half the followers I now have. Dropped right off a cliff after this.

How dead is Bluesky? For me- inexplicably SO dead that it’s just bones already. It cannot be this bad for everyone, can it? I don’t think I’m that popular, but I’m definitely not “zero likes ever even with 5000 followers” type of unpopular I’m experiencing this summer.

Is this app dead? I’ve been here in full for a year plus, and regularly have the exact same posts go beet well on threads (with 1/5 the followers) that get 2 likes here. Just me?

Todays NY Times email has a long, email-only article on Epstein that REPEATEDLY says conspiracy theories etc and REPEATEDLY covers up it was maga, Trump etc like conspiracy theories the right uses to manipulate people is somehow not driven by the people driving it.
