Ugh, my heart and the tension in the middle! I love some drama, but it just hits a little differently when it's so personable and realistic (I mean, as much as a famous pottery maker hiding in a small town being discovered by a guy who's boss loves his work can be 'realistic'...)

I was following a webtoon that (due to drama) dropped the artist and made the novel's author throw their hands up and quit it. It ended on the WORST cliffhanger... It's been nearly 4 years and I'm still traumatized.
