I’ve been saying for a few years that the Leafs haven’t had very many solid players on ELC’s. The lack of home grown developed players has finally caught up to them.

The Leafs losses happened mostly in the first 2 rounds. The Jays were literally an inch from the championship…twice. Not even close.

I’m not debating the other 4. Just striking that Shea Weber was a 1st ballot hall of famer and Price wasn’t. He’ll get in eventually.

I’m using Shea Weber as a comp. Weber never won an individual award. Price was too 3 goalies of his generation, won Olympic Gold, Hart, Vézina, Lester B, and played on a rather crappy team for years. Took his team to the final, and would’ve taken them twice if not for Kreider
