From the trailers for season 2, it looked like Flag Sr shows up. He was in Superman. So it seems like that are connected somehow. The reason I asked is because both Miller's Flash and Momoa's Aquaman both appear at the end of the first season, but I don't think they are part of Gunn's new DCU.
