Perhaps this shift from rapid AI growth to more mature, optimized models isn’t a bad thing. It allows for better adoption and improved security measures. Slowing down gives us time to refine and integrate AI responsibly, benefiting both society and the technology’s future.

Over the past year, I’ve delved deeply into the (im)possibilities of AI and am amazed almost daily by what it can and cannot do. I’m excited to see what the coming years will bring, but I’m also cautious about the many risks AI poses.
