Do the Bears think the first half is just warm up? Crazy how much better they are in the second half.

This cements that Thomas Brown will be the Bears choice for head coach. I can hear Poles reason now, "I loved his half-time speech when we were dominated and embarrassed in the first half of the 49ers game"

What was reported about Kevin Warren during his hiring has not been supported by what I’ve seen. His lack of progress on a new stadium, and the Bears’ handling of the firing of Eberflus were very dysfunctional are not the work of an experienced professional.

That Eberflus challenge was pure desperation.

Until today I thought firing Eberflus in season would just create more drama and chaos. Now I think not firing him now will be sending the message that incompetence is acceptable.

@danwiederer.bsky.social Dan, you need to come up with another category for your report card. A few of Caleb's throws exceeded star power.

It would be so Bears if it's the defense that's the weaker unit.

As good as the trade Poles made to acquire the #1 pick was, his decision to retain Eberflus is egregious. The trade required a bit of luck, the coaching decision required leadership, vision, and courage. He must hire the right coach and fix the O and D lines to pull the Bears out of mediocrity.
