And in the end they were moved in the Laurentian Library in Florence. As Bernardo of Chartres used to say : "We are like dwarfs on the shoulders of giants...". Every little detail counts for preserving history. And it's important, because if we forget, history can be rewritten; and changed.

And I really love your compliment. As soon as I saw this photo and was lifting the camera to shoot, I knew this was going to be an "hopperian" shot. Maybe all our new shots are born from a selective, hidden photographic memory we have. We always narrate the same story. Maybe.
