Zack, I'm a Green fan, but please don't use the phrase "I don't want to wipe people's bums" again. It's a dehumanising cliché and I feel so sorry that people who I visit might have to hear that and I know they're aware of that mindset when it comes to their care. You were good but Daisy excelled.

Does that not trouble you? Are you happy promoting a party with that as a policy? I would vote for them but I cannot possibly because of that being one of their policies, not least because it begs the question "How many more of their policies are ill-thought out and ill-researched?"

Hi Neil, as someone who by reposting promotes the Green Party, can you find out if one of their policies actually is to abolish horseracing? I've banged on a few of their doors but silence is the only answer!

Some lives. Sadly there's little in life that doesn't ruin some lives. So important to appreciate the huge positives of all that life gives us as well though. I so do recognise the pain and tragedy that can go hand in hand with these positives and how we need to do more to help improve our future.

...and I have known many hundreds of gamblers over the years who haven't. Help the very small percentage of people who gamble whose lives are seriously harmed but don't use this mantra to curtail a pastime of millions around the world whose lives are enhanced in so many ways.

I absolutely get that, healthy debating...love it! However, people who come to power and make big decisions that affect people's (and animals') lives should make them based on a proper deep dive into the subject. Having lived and breathed horseracing I read loads that is just ill-researched.

Not for the millions who enjoy horseracing!! I've read that at one stage the party intended to launch plans to abolish the sport. This indicates a lack of in depth knowledge on the subject which then leads me to wonder what other ill-researched policies they are promoting. Clarification needed!

Hi Zack. I keep asking through various routes but silence is still the only answer. Can you confirm your party's policy on horseracing? If the end goal is to abolish it then this demonstrates a lack of intimate knowledge on the subject which also leads to worries about other policies of yours.

Might change my mind but I think there's too much fuss being made about this....rather our daughters had this than having to take their passports out and having them questionably confiscated by bouncers. I find the framing of this initiative (immigration??FGS!!!) to be infuriating though.
