Many longtime fans don't like the story, but almost everyone agrees the gameplay is topnotch. I personally think the story is much better than it gets credit for, but it's very different from everything before it.

I don't think there was any reasonable way to expect it to be coming anytime sooner. Especially if OD is supposed to come out somewhere within that 6 years.

I've played a decent amount of Tetris Effect, various MLB The Shows, Metal Gear Solid V, and I'm near the very end of Elden Ring. Also Disco Elysium and a few Atlus JRPGs.
