Mind the gap
A couple of dramatic columns of cloud look to crash into each other crushing a ray of dawn orangey yellow sunshine, but it's a doomed endeavour, a brilliant patch of reds, orange and yellow is cracking open the horizon. The blue sky looks on serenely like an elder sister with WAY more important things on hand.

Def in a mood
A cyclone spinning up north has the clouds in a tis, but they combine to create a lovely blue grey slate tableu with lumps and bumps and wisps A bit of dawn tries valiantly to poke through some thin patches but it's heart isn't in it and it's not much more than a rose tinted glimmer All seen over an impassive dune, it's been there, done that, nothing to see here apparently

Just so
An orange glaze across the scene changes the perspective from observing to being Just above the dark mangroves a bright swirling near circle of the bay. A school of fish pushes the water into dawn catching planes Above the horizon the clouds and sky catch with lessening intensity the light but it is resilient and colours almost every part of the sky in a moment of quiet contemplation

Glistening
Some days the camera, or enhancements, catches something that the eye doesn't. This scene was a glorious monochromatic tableu which has come alive in mud-reflective golds and horizon shading rouge while the roof of clouds bubbles and writhes in morning glory At many levels, it works

Towering
Some geometric cloud lines cross bulbous extrusions of other clouds and through it all a pale mandarin gently lights the underside of the cloud line. Above the sky is a pale blue with some dark triangles of clouds, while way below a little bit of water glistens darkly in the under exposed landscape

Here and there
The low lumpy clouds rolling low over the bay add a bit of unnecessary drama to an airy dawn A light blue sky hosts white fluff high to catch the first rays and on the horizon a bank of clouds does its best to filter yellow and orange to us

Clumpy puffy clouds in a clear but dull sky catch hold of light, some yellow, some pink, a little orange here, with a sky of blue it's like a bunch of meadow flowers with some extra gleam courtesy of the bay reflecting the horizons brightness

Retreat
As dawn progresses the cloud bank actually obscured the ruddy golden wash on the horizon and, like a tide on the wane, the colour drained away, for this moment though it was a brilliant band of reds and golds across the horizon and reflected in the bay

A blazing dawn shards through clouds leaving some almost black and others in brilliance Warm red under the clouds is transformed into melting golden just a little way up Is today a day for shadow play or the clarity of openness, maybe that's a false binery

Immersion
The marmalade colour floods the scene peeping over the cloud bank on the horizon, rising through the sky in ever delightful lightening shades. The bay embraces the colour in-total with ripples adding a little attractive complication. The half ellipse (?) of cloud in the sky is my favourite, the array of environmental elements and sequence to create that illusion is mind bending

Tickling
A slow moving train wreck of boiling clouds, glistening yellow and pink tinge The clouds are stuck in do-nothing mode, not pretty, not going to rain, only thing they're good for is to have their bottoms painted a fetching pink. Meanwhile down towards the horizon everything is melting into a gentle yellow gleam, the clouds soften into a blanket of yellow-pink and patches of sky just gleam with a faint gold

The intersection of these two amazing fashion artists is ponderable. What is most glaring is the total self absorption and de-culturised views of one and the fight capitalism and save the planet views of the other
