Funnily enough Vis Bristol might actually /technically/ be a real name. Apparantly Vis is short for Victor in spanish? And, cities as a surname arent unknown. Usually, however, it isnt the name of a real world city in a world where that city presumably doesnt exist...

The suggestion i've heard in the past is to directly tie the salary of an elected rep to the average income of their constituents. Idk if theres an issue with that not immediately obvious, but it sounds like a starting point for ideas at least

Even if one takes the assumption that a bunch of the other residents had undetailed scummy qualities, a quick search of the place makes it very blatant that Vulpes was lying through his teeth about no one resisting

I realise this is probably secondary to the overall point, but it actually looks like they've soft-retconned it so that the wall was never rebuilt, and the faithless just kinda... sit there in the fugue plane for eternity

Tbf i'm pretty sure in Forgotten Realms, which seems to be treated as the 'default setting' these days, alignment only plays a secondary factor in determining afterlife. Presumably theres some rule that says the gods cant claim suicidal souls Because Reasons

Well, in eberrons case that setting is kinda weirdly half-sealed-off from the rest of the D&D multiverse so that wouldnt be so easy, but I guess fair

what about if theres /a/ provable afterlife that people go to but it kinda sucks so people Cope by believing there must be a secret /bonus/ afterlife after that one that they cant visit - aka, the eberron approach
