That was me or my siblings in Largs in the 1970s - sent on our bike with a purse containing a note & the exact money for 20 Rothmans for my late mum. #DifferentTimes

Fingerless gloves are a godsend - I have several pairs that I wear permanently from about November - March. Plus never go anywhere at anytime of the year without a scarf!

We have a 16 years & 2 months old Labrador 🐕. She's grown up with our 5 children, still enjoys a slow walk most days if the weather suits, but her hearing & eyesight are failing & her legs are very stiff - we are trying to prepare for when the day comes as it can't be far off. We'll never be ready 💔

Our now 16yo Labrador 🐕loved a ball but can't chase one any longer - our 4yo rescue Buddy who has some Labrador in him doesn't understand one at all 🤣

It looks quite Germanic/Austrian in style - lovely 😍

12 and I entertained the 2 young children of a local B&B owner for 2 hours every morning whilst she did the guest breakfasts. £0.60 per hour but more than enough to spend in the local Woolworths every week on makeup, cassettes, sweets etc. it was the early 80s 😃

Our 🐕 Philly is the same but she is 16yo so a reasonable excuse! Our other 🐕‍🦺 Buddy will go out anytime unless he can hear 🎆 fireworks in which case he just stops where he is & refuses to move. Sure she'll be fine once she's out the door with all the smells. Enjoy!

Mine like Whiskas dry food - I got a 7kg bag from Pets at Home for about £17. I feed ours indoors but we have an outdoor shelter as our 2 new cats like being outside. I think other cats like to visit & nosh on the dry food I put in it - I refuse to feed them the expensive oral health one.

Philly (who is a lab and celebrates her 16th birthday on Tuesday 🎉) is a professional at standing in the way - ideally in the kitchen or any doorway where there is the chance of something tasty!!! Plus she's deaf so have given up asking her to move #GetOutOfTheWay on repeat.

I listened to an interview on a podcast recently with the man in charge of the Smithsonian (great name but it's slipped my mind!) & he didn't strike me as someone who will break under pressure. He has my back 💪🏻

I freeze all my rinds and then forget to use them - that's a useful tip!!!

I was a runner, I still miss it but I accept I will never be again 🙁 but my cycle commute is a gentle 25 mins each way which it's great to be back to - even when the weather isn't as lovely as it was today ⛅️

Thanks! The job is fine, it's mostly lone working which I enjoy & I'm in a lovely building in a gorgeous area of Glasgow but there are quite a few stairs....going up is improving but going down still needs some practice 😬 It's a marathon not a sprint as they say 🚶🏻

Know the feeling - I'm back to work today after 17 weeks off for knee replacement surgery & summer break 😬 Nervous rather than glum really. Plus youngest child off to Italy for a week with their friends - bit envious too.

We have a nearly 16 yo Labrador Philly - heart & lungs strong, hearing & eyesight failing but excellent sense of smell, Bambi legs with arthritis and spends a lot of time just staring into space - but she's a happy girl so we just enjoy her being her for as long as we can 🐕❤️ #SeniorDogsRock

I had a similar tomato puree shortage at the weekend (my local Lidl had none & not even an empty shelf or shelf ticket - is there a problem???) so threw in some passata, not out of date though!!!

That's not even 4 years - you'll be fine 😋
