It takes an aggravating amount of patience and persistence just to, say, access your bank if you haven't done so in a while. Sometimes just the worry that you'll have to go through all the steps is enough to spark avoidance.

Online chores are still chores! You need time and a plan to tackle them.

I am actually coaching multiple clients through the process of getting medical help. I'm genuinely happy to do so--it's hard and important and I love knowing they'll get care.

I'll submit that it's an intimidating process that is hardest when you're lowest, though. I wish it were easier.

Oh, wait--you might also have to make 1-4 phone calls during work hours to get an appointment to fill out the paperwork.

And then you have to wrestle your insurance company to the ground to get them to pay for it.

There might also be some kind of irritating parking lot in there, too.

I got back "I currently work with a team that does not meet our professional standards, and I need to transition to collaborating with competent and dedicated professionals."

(Both are literally copy and paste.)

Past me could *really* have used this prior to shooting my mouth off.

It's okay to have some weeks be full of activity and success and for others to be slower. What worries me is when the same things get missed week after week--those are the hard ones. That's a good place for coaching. It's okay to need help on the hard things while the routine ones putter along.

Go ahead and work organically. Set reasonable goals, hit most of them most of the time. I promise it works out more than you're picturing.
