Caught some early morning light on a flight east recently. East bay city lights. Wall eye stereo pair. Look "through" the screen at the wall behind till you see three images. The middle image will be 3d.

Messier 8, Lagoon Nebula. Rough initial RGB processing. Some saturated stars, and hot pixels. Approx 30 minutes of exposure time with a 20 in, f/4.5 scope in Siding Spring Australia via iTelescope.

The sky, even in cities, is beautiful. This was taken with a small (6in) telescope in San Jose friday night. Yes, it took an hour, but I'm pretty proud of what my little scope can deliver with a little patience.
