I finally pulled out the pieces of a cotton sweater I had put away 20 years ago because I was frustrated with the lace pattern. I finished knitting the shoulders and blocked it and I must say I am pleased with it.

I finally decided to make a sweater for my hubby as a Christmas present. It’s not very exciting yet, but it’s going to be a Scottish style Gansey with a knit purl pattern and possibly some cables.

I checked in on the landscaping at the Blue Elk Inn in Leavenworth that my husband and I did last year. We are very pleased with the result!
