Sinclair Statement on the Return of Jimmy Kimmel Live! Sept 26, 2025 - Sinclair today announced that it will end its preemption of Jimmy Kimmel Live! and the show will return this evening on Sinclair's ABC affiliates. Our objective throughout this process has been to ensure that programming remains accurate and engaging for the widest possible audience. We take seriously our responsibility as local broadcasters to provide programming that serves the interests of our communities, while also honoring our obligations to air national network programming. Over the last week, we have received thoughtful feedback from viewers, advertisers, and community leaders representing a wide range of perspectives. We have also witnessed troubling acts of violence, including the despicable incident of a shooting at an ABC affiliate station in Sacramento. These events underscore why responsible broadcasting matters and why respectful dialogue between differing voices remains so important. In our ongoing and constructive discussions with ABC, Sinclair proposed measures to strengthen accountability, viewer feedback, and community dialogue, including a network-wide indep ombudsman. These proposals were suggested as collaborative efforts between ABC affiliates & ABC network. While ABC and Disney have not yet adopted these measures, and Sinclair respects their right to make those decisions under our network affiliate agreements, we believe such measures could strengthen trust and accountability.

@realDonaldTrump After getting to know and fully understand the Ukraine/Russia Military & Economic situation and, after seeing the Economic trouble it is causing Russia, | think Ukraine, with the support of the Eur Union, is in a position to fight and WIN all of Ukraine back in its original form. With time, patience, and the financial support of Europe &, in particular, NATO, the original Borders from where this War started, is very much an option. Why not? Russia has been fighting aimlessly for three and a half years a War that should have taken a Real Military Power less than a week to win. This is not distinguishing Russia. In fact, it is very much making them look like “a paper tiger.” When the people living in Moscow, and all of the Great Cities, Towns, and Districts all throughout Russia, find out what is really going on with this War, the fact that it's almost impossible for them to get Gasoline through the long lines that are being formed, and all of the other things that are taking place in their War Economy, where most of their money is being spent on fighting Ukraine, which has Great Spirit, and only getting better, Ukraine would be able to take back their Country in its original form and, who knows, maybe even go further than that! Putin and Russia are in BIG Economic trouble, and this is the time for Ukraine to act. In any event, | wish both Countries well. We will continue to supply weapons to NATO for NATO to do what they want with them. Good luck to all!

But a senior law enforcement official with direct knowledge of the investigation cautioned that report had not been verified by A.T.F. analysts, did not match other summaries of the evidence, and might turn out to have been misread or misinterpreted. In fast- moving investigations, such status reports are not made public because they often contain a mixture of accurate and inaccurate information.
