Wee wander to clear the cobwebs this morning.
The Scotland/England border has hundreds of square miles of unspoilt moorland with spectacular views. If you’re ever on the A68 it’s worth checking out.

When will the UK start telling these global conglomerates to eff off?
They starve local cafes of much needed revenue while paying paltry tax sums to the Treasury.
£7m in tax last year on £149m gross profit.

On my road home I stopped at Twizel Bridge. Built in 1511 it was the country’s largest spanning arch for 200 years! Both the Scots & English armies used the bridge at the Battle of Flodden in 1513!
And I used today - 500 years later. 🫡
England won that day but I reclaimed it today! 🏴
