In space, temperature extremes pose significant challenges for spacecraft. MLI ensures our avionics, propulsion systems, & other onboard components stay within their acceptable thermal ranges throughout the mission lifetime. We’re now focusing on final system checkouts before shipping to launch site

Heat. Pressure. Precision.

In the Impulse Weld Shop, raw material becomes mission hardware. Joints become thrust structures. Steel becomes spacecraft.

This is how in-space mobility is built—one weld at a time.

By hand. By people. For orbit.

The first mission, currently planned for 2027, will feature a dedicated deployment from a medium-lift launcher in LEO, followed by Helios transferring the 4-ton-class payload directly to GEO within eight hours of launch.

The agreement provides opportunity for additional missions.

Common dome and LOX dome of Helios: sleeved. ✅

Another milestone toward a fully assembled development tank. Built to carry over 13,000 kg of propellant, Helios is engineered for direct insertion to MEO, GEO, and beyond.

🚀 During launch, forces from acceleration put serious stress on COPVs. To ensure reliability, we run "external loads" testing by pressurizing the tank & applying static loads of over 10,000 pounds with a hydraulic actuator—validating the article can handle well beyond the harshest flight conditions.
