So no control character for changing the colour, maybe? So... C/G was a relevant term in the Atari/C64 BBS world, since they were compatible (in lower case) except for the colour? Hm, something to dig into..

Still wouldn't make sense tho, since the charsets aren't fully compatible, I suppose, since C64 uses the old ASCII 1963 encoding. Hmm.. Yeah, just thinking aloud. :)..

Ha, that could be fun! Btw, are ATASCII animations always monochrome? I haven't really understood why C/G would be called color graphics, since it's always in color on C64, so maybe it was in relation to ATASCII?

Thanks! It's been quite a lot of work, and still struggling with some files, but it feels important to get these things out there. Today I managed to display what turned out to be a silly Atari vs Commodore war animation. 😃
