Drove 9 hours to see totality in 2017. Flying 3 and driving another 3 to 10 (depending on clouds) to see it again. Completely worth it. The alt-text about breaking the sky is the best description I've heard. I remember staring at the completely black moon feeling like a hole had been cut in the sky.

I think I had this at the Coca-Cola museum in the 90s. There was a line for it and every person that tried it made a horrible face, then turned to the person behind them and said "that's disgusting, don't drink it", followed immediately by that person trying it and repeating the cycle-including me.
