Love how clearly you can see several constellations! 😍

Yes.
As a vocal dog hater, when I spare a deeper thought about it, I’m perfectly aware it all boils down to the carelessness (or outright negligence) of many owners. And the moment a friend introduces me to their well-behaved dog I’m immediately all "Aww!", "Oooh!", "Who’s a good boy/girl!".

I’m betting on three. S1 is underway, S2’s already been greenlit on trust, S3’ll be too on the ratings of S1, which will be inflated by the initial wave of curiosity, nostalgia and bile.
Once the novelty wears off and S2 starts declining, they’ll pull the plug before having to bankroll CG dragons.

Oh, I understand. Yeah, as a general question it’s interesting, and I’m curious too for future reference.

Though in this specific case I still maintain that your time is way too precious for Joanne. Let’s not sell ourselves short: we all deserve better. 🫶🏻

Yes, I’ve heard of it, and I also know it’s a literary critique tool specifically for thematical text analysis, not a cure-all for cognitive dissonance.
My point being, wouldn’t you rather devote your time to something you don’t have to do mental gymnastics to enjoy?

Better question: why would y’all even want to waste an hour a week of your life on a story you already know inside and out, knowing it’s not even going to surprise you in any way because it’s a ✨Faithful Adaptation✨™, and whose every minute is a reminder of the horrible person that’s behind it?

Look, I do give you leniency (and sympathy) becaue you’re USian and I understand you only get to choose between Questionable and Abysmal.
But when you’re stuck with a two party system with a lot of in-built voter suppressing mechanism, not voting is, in fact, voting for the worst option.

They are, no matter what mental gymnastics they do to absolve themselves, or how loudly they shout while plugging their ears when it’s pointed out to them.

Though it should be noted that’s also the reason why ancient male statues lost their penises: Christians found them obscene and carved them out.

It’s called iconoclasm: the destruction of (rival) sacred imagery was a big part of early Christianity, once it was legalised and became widespread through the Roman Empire. Temples were either converted into churches or destroyed, and the statues therein defiled. More were lost to that than wars.

True, and governments should do their jobs and rein them in.

Especially because we know for a fact that global coordinated efforts do actually work: the Montreal Protocol is a success, and it faced the same opposition and denialism from corporations.

I remember the climate conversation when I was in elementary school, back in the 1990s. It was already established and widespread enough that even as a child I heard and registered it.
That means there was an ample margin to take action: there simply was no will to do so.

Why is this so relatable though? Like, ALL of it.

And yes, I did actually have to go and buy a Bible as a prop for these. 🙊
