Same here, very few symphonic stuff that I really enjoy. Agathodaimon’s “The Seven” is a great exception though!

Yeah, it’s the main reason why I mostly turned my back on so-called female fronted metal. The doomy gothness of the early days was quickly replaced with an overdose of symphonic elements, removing all emotional depth from the music.
