Is humility actually useful or a way to keep us from honestly assessing and communicating our worth? Is the value of humility inflated? As I prefer honest subjective assessment. Thoughts?

It's not left/right, it's bottom/top. The bottom must be taken care of first, so that if any of us fall or are born in a lower socioeconomic situation (poverty) it's not so scary.
