Yep. As a therapist working in this field for 25 years, it’s hard. Working for myself has helped because I set my own hours and give myself lots of breaks and work with mainly neurodivergent humans.

And it put the onus of fixing the problem on individuals instead of requiring companies to be accountable for the mess they have made of our environment, because they give them tons of money.

And they didn’t take into consideration disabled folks who need the straws. I use metal straws. Paper straws are a sensory nightmare

My original comment was made to someone blaming folks for the current administration -furthering our separation. I have zero desire to focus on democrats at this time. I’m glad you are focusing there. I’m focusing on mutual aid and protecting those vulnerable.

Again, I voted Kamala. I’m a Latinx cancer survivor. I understood what was at stake- but I don’t blame anyone for how they voted. We need to stop perseverating and focus our energy to fight this administration.

Seriously! My first ever campaign to work on was Jesse Jackson in 1988. I was so excited to be part of the rainbow coalition, and boy was I kicked in the teeth. I did it again with Bernie with the same outcome. 😞

Seriously! And they are terrible at calling out corruption because their stock portfolios are just as full of thievery. Liberals often side with fascists before they side with leftists. 😞

Hey! We are in agreement that this administration is horrific. How about instead of this nonsense- we focus and fight the current administration?

The only people I want all of us to attack are the ones in office! But instead here we are fighting each other. It’s utterly ridiculous. Stop blaming other for Kamala’s loss. Start fighting Trump. And yes - I will fight whoever is in office. It’s a right we all need to be practicing.

As stated, I voted for Kamala - and no she didn’t listen to me. She didn’t listen on immigration, Gaza, trans rights… And I do wish she was in office, but she isn’t. We need to focus on who is.

The democrats were the ones who FAFO. And they still haven’t stopped. And marginalized folks are going to be hurt. But they don’t care. Those in office will be happy with their tax cuts. I voted Kamala knowing full well that I was going to fight her too. Blue maga is as awful as red maga.

Maybe instead of focusing your Ire at third party voters, focus on the democrats voting to confirm all of the disastrous Trump picks. Focus on the the deportations, the racism, transphobia and homophobia. Democrats fought Bernie harder than they are fighting Trump.
