More than a bit. Not only was the football obvs more progressive, but it's much easier to be optimistic about the future - despite a loss - when players like Sarr, Bergvall and Gray are on the field from the start.

Would take that every game. It's easier to see an optimistic future, even in a loss, when you play with intent with a team that includes the likes of Sarr, Bergvall and Gray.

He identified the priority of tightening up the defensive structure early, which he has largely achieved, but he needs to find a spark from somewhere pronto.

Absolutely. The buck, fairly or not, has the stop with him. But, it's hard to ignore there is a wider issue that exists outside of the coaches influence, and has done across multiple tenures.

This was easily the worst performance out of the whole lot. They look completely broken 10 games into a season.
