The nightmare JIB recon of 2024 is over! It took converting 18,909 lines in a pdf saved as a CSV, Excel tricks, lots of algebra, and 3 days of trance and drum and bass in my headphones, but my resulting total was down to the penny of the JIB total, and without an =round() formula! Damn I’m good!

It’s hard to pretend that a new software is mind blowing yet requires a “learning curve,” but during the training the teacher is giving you desperate eyes after someone asks why you can’t alter a custom form Excel upload. If your know you know. It’s been a hard week.

I’m happy my significant other said “we gotta go back” after leaving an estate sale. I lost him to thought before the turn around and his instinct was correct. Quite a treasure per my book groups. Harlan Ellison’s 1973 bibliography written by Leslie Kay Swigrat, autographed by both.

Software implementation consultants that require the input of 12, but schedule 1.5 hour meetings to teach new users - and get input from them - at either 7:00 AM or 3:30 PM, with only 3 days of notice, clearly do not care about the project, the managers, or the people involved. It is not ok.
