Movie rec: F1. Predictable but very entertaining, showing the huge team needed for F1 success. Joe Kosinski of Top Gun Maverick fame keeps the pace fast but shows the science and strategy. Real F1 drivers participated. Lewis Hamilton was a producer. Pitt, Bardem, Idris and Condon are well cast.

I am finding this season of The Bear to be terminally boring. Too much angst and not enough action in the kitchen. Big Yawn. Glad I am reading a good book while it is on in the background.

The first thing Iran could do it is block the Strait of Hormuz. About a quarter of the world's oil trade passes through it, which links the Persian Gulf to the Indian Ocean. This would drive the oil price up and cause inflation.
