I’m definitely not a scholar but if I was a lower court judge I think I’d also be upset because I know the law of my state/district better than the Supreme Court majority probably does; I know how to apply it to this set of facts. That’s why we have standards of review. It’s absurd.

Unfortunately it would great if Garcia could have proved the vindictive and selective prosecution in a court of law. We know it was happening. Trump Admin needs to feel the pain and shame.
