This week I finally opened a business bank account! And I finished a book that I would highly recommend. I’ve been trying to read black authors to try and understand that perspective for a while, and this one was very powerful. I also read and recommend The Good Lord Bird by the same author.

Here’s my booth from the Galentines Market in Fortuna on Friday night. I was pretty happy with this setup and the simplicity of it. Thanks to everyone who came out!

I call this an Atmospheric River Weekend.

Lots of cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, cooking, movies, and drawing by the fire.

After a very dry January, it feels like the world is right again…at least in one aspect. Don’t get me started on the rest.

It’s been a tiring, yet fulfilling week! I completed and submitted my new continuing education course for opticians: Optical Math Fundamentals. I’ll let you know once it’s available.

What are you looking forward to this year?

I created these year of the snake origami kits for lunar new year. The folding instructions were drawn by yours truly! I’ve been making a new kit each year for the last four years. So far we have tiger, rabbit, dragon, and now snake available.
