Don't discount the possibility that Putin and his cronies are behind this; it benefits them enormously if the EU and NATO are fractured and disrupted. There is also documented evidence of this plan hatching ca 2017--18.

Some publishers---not all (e.g., nonprofits). That said, this certificate thing is gross and insulting. AI and social media have really duped some into thinking they are all that matter.

I'm honestly not convinced Europe has the guts to do any of those things, but let's hope so. They haven't exactly been united or strong against the giant threat to their north, that huge Slavic country which sabotages and threatens them daily.

"Kings" (as in "no kings") is no longer appropriate for this moment. It's much too weak, too vague. We are now in "no dictator and no fascism" territory. No imperialism. No unprovoked wars. No kings sounds downright quaint and folksy now.

Get a cloud account like Dropbox, transfer files there from the PC, then move them to your Mac from the cloud (and keep them in the cloud for safe keeping).

But...Nature has editors who could decide against such puff pieces. They choose not to. They also publish puff pieces based on crap science, and have for a long time (at least in the discipline in which I used to work). They have long succumbed to the bright shiny objects instead of good judgment.
