1. I honestly have no idea. They have a lot of shows and movies that all have to be planned and scheduled and fit on a board somehow. That's a high-pressure job! I knew we were going to be once a week... I didn't know which day. I think they post it 12 AM PST on the chosen day.
How does Prime/production decide when to air a show? Meaning - how was Wed 3am drop (east coast) decision made

1. I honestly have no idea. They have a lot of shows and movies that all have to be planned and scheduled and fit on a board somehow. That's a high-pressure job! I knew we were going to be once a week... I didn't know which day. I think they post it 12 AM PST on the chosen day.

Happy Sunday Derek! Question: Volchek and Mark seem to be connected somehow. Like the visual parallel between them when both working out (boxing and pull ups) and twice they passed like ships in the night. Giving me Heat vibes, with Pacino and De Niro? Will there be some sort of face to face?

5. I just try to make them multi-dimensional, otherwise they're just that truck in the movie DUEL... mindless, soulless, relentless hell-hounds. I have a soft spot for the bad guys... I want you to sometimes pull for them and then think to yourself, "what am I doing?" 😀
You gave us early, Chicago Fire Hank Voight; now you've given us Volcheck. You write terrific antagonists. Where do you get your inspiration for writing complex bad guys from?

2. In the dance hall, the basement hallway is dark, and though the audience can see Volchek, from Mark's angle, Volchek's in the shadows. Just a dark figure. All hell breaks loose after that but we can assume he described everything he saw as well as he could.

What was your favorite part of the show to write and then film? Any specific episode you liked best?

There have been many flashbacks for Volchek. I loved the one of him in jail & crossing paths with Mark and Finau. That was very cool. Will there be any flashbacks for Mark showing his past?

2. That's two questions! a) Mark's fight was on the first day of filming. It was 114 degrees. It was probably 85 percent Jensen and 15 percent stunt double. It's hard to keep Jensen from doing his own fights/stunts.

3. A task force has no minimums nor limits, so I thought it would be cool to contract or expand the team as the case progresses. Seven seemed like the right number to launch because that's a lucky number. (Except in the case of episode 7... for some characters.)
How did you decide the appropriate number of people to be on the task force? Too many and they don’t get a decent storyline, too little and it loses the team dynamic
