For me, Dean Spanley, by Toa Fraser. Why wouldn't everyone just totally fall in love with a straight-faced film about an Edwardian clergyman reliving his past life as a dog when drinking the best Hungarian tokay?

Watching The Holly and The Ivy (1952), my go-to Christmas movie these days. A lovely, grown-up Christmas story that just keeps getting better as it goes on. And a young and sexy Denholm Elliot is always such a joy..
