That usually means they see open source only through the lens of code.

But code is just one part of the picture. In reality, it’s a small fraction of what makes open source work and what contributors bring to the table.

With AI, the divide is getting even worse. It's like a new layer of social class division.

I hit the wall today, I'm already excluded, my equipment is not able to handle all the. When I've put "ollama pull gpt-oss:120b" in my terminal, my mac told me "you’re way out of your league, kid".
