A meta-analysis of published di-Gly #ubiquitomics vs general #proteomics doi.org/10.1002/2211... shows that protein levels do NOT inversely correlate with ubiquitination levels. So, please do not assume that a reduction in your POI abundance is caused by #ubiquitination, unless you have detected so.
