Congratulations to Brigadier General Max “Harpo” Pearson, who was just nominated to jump to 3-stars and lead Air Force Intel and Cyber as the A2/6. Congrats to General Pearson, a fantastic officer and leader

Shohei is pitching tonight and I’m absolutely giddy to watch. The 10:10pm first pitch is a crusher, guess I’ll be dragging at work tomorrow

Wife and I saw Pearl Jam last night, the last show of the Dark Matter tour. They played nearly three hours, sounded as good as ever, and ended the show and tour with a champagne toast to their crew. Awesome evening with my favorite band #PearlJam #DarkMatter

WaPo is reporting SecDef fired Gen Tim Haugh, CYBERCOM Commander and NSA Director this afternoon. I’ve had the pleasure to work for him on multiple occasions and he’s one of the finest officers I’ve ever met. What a loss for the intelligence and cyber fields. Just devastating

Not sure if you’ve read any Ben MacIntyre, but his “The Spy and the Traitor” about Gordievsky is excellent

Those who scoffed the forecasters and said “it never snows as much as they say” are pretty quiet this morning #Snowmageddon25

Finished John Nichol’s outstanding “Eject, Eject” today and I honestly loved it. He makes learning about the development of the ejection seat interesting, but it is the stories of what happened to some of the ejectees after they pulled the handles that floored me. So good, highly recommend

Check it out, Natalie Portman is totally following me. Definitely her and not some bot. Don’t pretend you’re not impressed

Next, I found “Banksy Loves London, Robbo” just a 10 minute walk away. I passed right by but turned around and found it. A little worse for wear, but it felt very authentic. Really surprising to me that these works are not marked it anyway, you just download a Banksy map and go explore, it was fun

Went on a Banksy hunt in London today, tried to see a couple of his works in the wild. It’s harder than you’d think, they keep getting stolen, removed, painted over, or defaced. First I found “Designated Graffiti Area,” it was inaccessible because of a private party but I snuck a couple of photos

Maybe an even better morning

One of my favorite things about having a 5-year old is playing with Lego together. This year we decided to build “Christmasville” as part of our holiday decorating. Still a little more to add but I didn’t want to spoil him too much with too many sets

Took my 5-year old to the National Children’s Museum in DC the day after Thanksgiving…

One of my favorite things to do ever holiday is serve at the Dining Facility, I love the surprise when the Airmen seeing me and the Chief slinging food. I got in trouble today because I was trying to give too much food per serving. Totally worth it

The wife pointed out that I haven’t posted about any of these things yet, so over today I will. I’ll start with this; two months ago Shohei played the single greatest game in the 146-year history of MLB and became the first member of the 50/50 club. What a night and what a player!
