3 years after my last work, I created a new generative art piece "Davincian Sketches". A living codex of Leonardo da Vinci's lost studies, born from algorithmic imagination. You can mint a unique piece for only 2 $xtz. beta.fxhash.xyz/project/davi...

Form Distribution investigates the tension between mathematical precision and natural randomness. Regular polygons—symbols of order and structure—are distributed across the canvas using algorithms that mimic organic growth patterns.

Channeled Rondure is a generative art piece that creates mesmerizing circular compositions using sine wave patterns and dynamic visual elements. Each token generates a unique combination of flowing waves, geometric patterns, and organic shapes within a circular canvas.

I keep discovering generative art that I made in my most productive period 2021-2022. I'll add some more work to my portfolio site and add links to other platforms besides fxhash.

This iterative dance between creativity and code is where the magic happens. The final artwork isn’t just what I imagined—it’s shaped by discoveries made along the way. That’s the beauty of generative art. #DigitalArt

Even when I have a clear vision of the final piece, the process is a journey. I start simple, add elements, test, and sometimes fail. Unexpected code tweaks spark new ideas, steering the project in fresh directions.

To find great algorithms, I look to nature’s patterns—think spirals, fractals, or branching structures—and ask: is there a math formula behind this? It’s fascinating how natural forms inspire digital creation.
July 15, 2025 at 7:01 AM
On the flip side, starting from an algorithm focuses on beauty emerging from math. The challenge? Ensuring every seed produces a distinct, visually appealing result that fits the overall aesthetic. It’s art born from structure. #AIArt

Starting from a concept means translating an idea into code. But it’s not about crafting one perfect image—each mint must be unique yet still reflect the core vision. That balance is tricky but essential for true generative art.

When I start a new generative art project, I take one of two paths: begin with a concept or start from an algorithm. Both have unique challenges that shape the creative journey. #GenerativeArt #CreativeAI

currently investigating new ways of creating larger physical prints of my work. I'm looking into using AI to upscale images to get a higher pixel density.

With Grok 4 we have an AI that is smarter than any human. It can't plan. We still need to guide it. So what are we doing with it? Are we now limited by our own imagination?

A few weeks back I posted on LinkedIn about using AI as a tutor. www.linkedin.com/feed/update/... I've been quietly adding chapters since then, using Gemini CLI.

I've been using Claude Code Pro to help me with my latest art project. Don't expect it to do all the work but it can help to save a lot of time. I use it to create git feature branches, I have an auto-commit hook, write unit tests, do code reviews, document code, help with debugging and more.

One of my art pieces that I'm really proud of is www.gorikfr.art/en/portfolio... . For me this represents the beauty of algorithms. There is nothing altered or custom drawn, it is math in its purest form.

Why did I create a new portfolio website at www.gorikfr.art ?
It's all about mindset. I neglected my generative art for the last 3 years because I didn't think of myself as a real artist. But I remembered the joy of making art and I'm proud of some of my pieces.

An update on my new Art website. The site is ready, I just need hosting and a domain name before I can launch the site to the world. I'm aiming at a release around July 15th.

minted Generations 1978 by @ciphrd on @fxhash to try out the release of the new $FXH token and open form projects, the newest evolution of generative art.
Meanwhile I'm experimenting creating my own open form project.

Take a look at the sneak peek of my forthcoming portfolio website! This site is a part of my endeavor to take my digital artwork more earnestly and to showcase it effectively. It will be available in both English and Dutch, aiming to engage a wider audience and build connections in my home country.

I consulted Perplexity Labs for advice on how to market my generative art, and they suggested I dedicate more effort to documenting my artistic process and developing a professional portfolio website. Currently, I'm constructing a website with Claude's assistance and composing this post.
