as a european, i genuinely don't understand how people are so ignorant of this, "because it doesn't effect them". it's so egoistic and in reality, it might effect europe in many ways actually. but even so, it's important to talk about. people are having their literal rights taken away.

I think the worst part about all this is that I feel like my future is up in the air. The party who won is full of anti-science freaks and no matter if you think social science is an actual science, as an academic I'm feeling extremely concerned that the next regime will try to erase people like me
