Looks like Sarwar has misunderstood the Scottish electorate. he seems to think it is just Starmer putting off Scots voting Labour when it is the Labour party itself.

The story about difficulties in getting driving tests is another example of a society going down the wrong road. (pun intended) We're trying to reduce car use but look on driving as an absolute right! You don't need a licence to use public transport.

If anyone still thinks we have a free press/broadcast media in this country, just look at the way the budget is being reported. Anything aimed at making society fairer is labelled as a "raid", "robbery" or a "grab". Minimum wage rates are only considered from employers side.

All the narative around labour's asylum policies trying to fix divisions in our society are only pushing the blame onto those seeking safety, away from the racists. Deal with racism. It's a far greater evil than asylum seekers.

If the Starmer gov thinks inhumane immigration policies can be made acceptable just because they are copied from a "left" party, they really can't claim to be anything but right wing.
