Westlaw at least of those has its own AI, not tried it yet, but presumably just improves the search function beyond the current one, and maybe suggests specific responses to questions? I feel like the future is a combination, but AI will definitely make life easier

I’ll always use copilot for teams calls - shoots out notes of the call, and action points for specific people on the call. Then also use for summarising, putting info into table formats, taking responses out of tables and into prose, seeding emails. No real legal work, just admin basically.

Looks like it depends where you are. The survey says lawyers in the public sector (14%) or the Bar (20%) were much less likely to be “researching or exploring opportunities with generative AI’” than those at large law firms (64%). I’m at a large firm and there’s definitely increasing interest
