No one will mourn Assad’s regime.

The only disappointment is that he managed to flee rather than be held accountable by the people of Syria for his horrific crimes.

It was great to visit Castlemilk Law Centre today. The team there provide legal support to people in really difficult circumstances.

I’ll be working with them to help people who need it in Castlemilk.

Some of my colleagues and I had a great dinner last night with Elizabeth Smith and, not pictured, exiled Russian dissidents.

The people we met had to flee their homes to get away from Putin’s regime, but remain under threat.
