3/3 I will watch closely to see if an additional Special Respondility Allowance is offered with the position as, in line with the Reform Party’s cost saving ‘DOGE’ principles, this should surely be taken from the Disability Champion’s extra allowance if so!

2/3 Reform Cllr Simon Evans responded that, the LCC Disability Champion, Cllr Gaynor Hargreaves had been asked to take up the position in July 2025, but has declined as she was too busy.I was re-assured to hear that another councillor will be identified to take up the position.
