My takeaway from this piece is that candidate quality matters and in an off year election likely to favor Democrats, this new district is theirs to win or lose. 🤷‍♂️

My husband grew up in Salt Lake City, which has a separate and distinct urban character from much of the rural rest of the state. The Republican obsession with carving up the city and dumping it in 4 separate CDs to dilute its vote is tyranny and the court rightly recognized that reality.
