Remembering my grandfather & his five brothers. They all served in World War II & thankfully, they all came home.

Left to right, my grandfather Ben with Reg, Ralph, John, George & Bob.

This Windsor Star picture is from 1945. It was first time they reunited since all enlisted.

Tomorrow is Sept 30th, Canada’s National Truth & Reconciliation Day.
For those interested, two suggestions include:
1. Where an orange shirt.
2. Read this recently published book by David A. Robertson called ‘52 Ways to Reconcile’.

Did you know…

There are ELEVEN Stanley Cup banners hanging in Ottawa. All dated between 1903 and 1927.

Only the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs have more. Detroit also has eleven.

Great to hear about the strong voter turnout so far this weekend, even with some long lines.

We voted late Saturday afternoon and were done in about 10 minutes.

Way to go Canada! 🇨🇦
Keep it going!

A quick visual on how the trading circuit breakers work on the S & P 500.

Trading is halted for a period of time when each of these limits are reached.

Similar concepts apply to other markets.

What another Alice in Wonderland day.

Not sure who needs to read this today, but one of the founding fathers of the USA left this for everyone.

On a super positive and memorable note, it was 15 years ago today that the opening ceremonies were held for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics.
What a moment of Canadian pride and unity.

Let this sink in!
82% of eligible Ontario voters DID NOT VOTE FOR DOUG FORD in Ontario 2022.
The problem is that 57% didn't vote at all.
Apathy & low voter turnout helped Ford get re-elected with another majority.
That's why Ford called the first Winter Ontario election in 100yrs.
