Focus on majority voting blocs first - message to them, do not prioritise minorities in the first instance but don't exclude them. Go back to issues that matter at lowest levels. This has been noted by at least 3 DNC chair candidates coming through. I've watched those interviews and they make sense.

When I say "we", I am using that as a term for the group that got owned by Trump and Republicans in the previous election. I am part of that group. I'm glad many of the new DNC candidates have their head screwed on and are looking to fix the emphasis of the Democrat platform and messaging.

The Harris campaign absolutely tried to avoid it. Unfortunately, you can't escape the historical trajectory of the Democratic party so those efforts were in vain. I watch a tonne of pro-Democratic long form channels and debate platforms, this problem is hotly debated.

When Democrats had total power, why didn't they codify Roe v Wade? They lost focus. However, even women didn't vote with enough force to show they cared to save it when given the candidates that promised it. Gobsmacked.

Exactly, Kamala tried to distance herself from the toxicity of the issue. Why don't people see this. If LGBTQ style issues win election then why wasn't it FRONT and CENTER? You can't escape the history of the Democratic party, Kamala tried to.

Kamala deliberately avoided this as it had become toxic for the Democratic campaign. I understand that people sympathetic to the cause don't see the over emphasis.

Both. Women are losing their rights but we are projecting concern about transgender bathroom use and transgender women competing in women's sports. Majorities were ignored in favour of minorities, when majorities are needed to gain power. We lost.

My point being, to get into power, you need large voting blocs. With the over emphasis on LGBTQIA+ the Democratic party is alienating large swathes of men and women, who then vote for Trump. They aren't necessarily assholes but clearly the Democrats don't message in a way that says they matter.

I work in government, where do I start? Government programs driven from the top. Multiple monthly campaigns on LGBTQIA+ etc rights, projects and initiatives, it's an over saturation with zero for international men's day. Which group moved massively towards Trump? Not LGBTQIA+. New strategy required.
