As someone who knows the answer to "why is there so much autism being diagnosed now" is actually "because awareness," genuinely concerned the current administration would actively try to cure that with more ignorance.

In my personal life as an atheist among self-styled christians, I never try to convince one god isn't real. I occasionally ask them why they aren't doing what Christ quite clearly and repeatedly told Christians to do. I also generally shame them by being a better Christian right in their faces.

morbid curiosity made me watch their "cooking" "demo" video. I was impressed by their willingness to just fake it hard. Then I read the disclaimers on the page below the video, and, well, at least they're kind of transparent about their flagrant dishonesty?

Did he? The article seems to confirm what I'd heard, which is that these "concessions," much touted by Trump and conservative media, were dubious. Canada offered the same basic thing they'd offered in December to Biden, and Mexico will send 10k troops - again, like last year, for Biden.

From what I've read, the Parliament can't *end* the martial law, they can only order the president to do so. They have. Apparently there's no explicit timeline for compliance?
